02/23/00 Here it is in a nutshell: people don't really want to hear that you are doing well. They want to hear how badly you are doing so that they might have an opportunity to talk about how badly they are doing themselves. Once this sinful ball gets rolling it is near impossible to stop its progress. Are you a rational individual? Are you pretty much even keel? Well just fucking forget it buddy, no one wants to hear it here.
