05/10/00 Sadly, we don't get into print even this way any more. I like the grumpy professor. Has anyone ever seen a professor wearing a mortar board outside of a graduation ceremony? Was the professor sober? Are any professors sober? Would you actually want to be sober if you were a professor? Maybe in England the professors wear those hats. Look at the cranial accoutrements that English legal folks have to wear.
