05/08/02 Here is Pinkey being a bit pessimistic. Sure, it may be true that we have very little control over the world that surrounds us. However, even if that is true, there is more to the finite opportunities available to us than Pinkey lets on. Sometimes it is difficult to gauge exactly how much we really can do. Before anyone goes asking, I think the frustrated guy is at least partly agitated by the useless mutant claw hands I've drawn for him. I'd be pretty pissed if someone chose those hands for me. ...In the last two panels, the image in the porthole of the spaceship kind of looks like a pair of boobs. Oops.
