05/28/03 This episode is dedicated to the memory of Ruffo, a cute little guy who didn't get to live for very long. The line about "Mr. Purcell's Frankenstein rakes" is stolen out of an episode from Steve Purcell's book, The Collected Sam & Max: Surfin' The Highway. Some people will remember Mr. Purcell's work from the glorious days of SCUMM-powered video games, which featured some damn fine writing, and some people may have even played the Sam & Max video game, painful though that experience must have been. Word from E3 is that there is a new Sam & Max game on the way; hopefully it will be fun to play this time. (No, I'm not really a big fan of adventure games, sorry.)
