03/22/00 Really, I don't know what Pinkey is getting so worked up about here. All religion is money. Okay, so a better version of that statement is something along the lines of "all religion is a statement of what one must believe," but why would anyone be interested in dictating the beliefs of others if not to get money out of them. Show me a religion that did not concern itself with accounting issues and I'll show you something that everyone else just calls a "really good party." ...Hm, perverting this whole dictum slightly, we have a pretty good argument that advertising is the greatest modern religion.
