This episode features a somewhat successful experiment with text for sound effects. Normally (or generally) when an inanimate thing makes a sound in the show, that thing kind of speaks the sound in its own speech bubble. That strategy has a habit of adding too many lines to a panel though, and it makes composition hell. (I'm going to go ahead now and blame all my poor composition on this problem. Heh.) This kind of thin line weight outlined text seems like a pretty good solution, I think.
