06/06/01 This is a pretty strightforward "comic strip" style episode. Frighteningly, it is actually pretty damn close to the basic four panel comic strip forumla. (Which goes: statement, question, expansion of statement, punchline. Check out the syndicated strips in your local newspaper with this system in mind.) I guess what it comes down to today is that I just like the joke. The banner for this month kind of reminds me of the mad scientist character from Bill Sienkiewicz's Stray Toasters. ...That was a great book. (Can you say "book" when the thing was originally four smaller comics? Oh well.)
