06/13/01 I'd like to credit (or blame) my friend Jane LeCroy for the observation that the sun is in everything, at least as far as this planet is concerned. Indeed, we are nothing but little bits of the sun. This is one of those highly tautological mystical science kind of things. Most philosophical ramblings, especially the perverted subgenre known as "religion," set up a kind of us-against-them dichotomy. It's all contrived, though, since there isn't anything on this whole planet that isn't built of material discarded by the sun. |
