09/05/01 In this episode I am stealing a line from, or a story about, the proprietor of Middle Earth Book Shoppe in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. While I was working there, one of the other employees told me how she once had to placate an angry customer who had been offended on a previous visit by a man who was dancing around with a feather duster and singing "I'm in the nude for love" at the top of his lungs. This man, of course, turned out to be Bob, the owner. I'm not sure his lyrics were original but the rest of the story sure is. Hooray for Bob. As a warning, I should point out that there are some things that you really shouldn't do naked, as has been clearly pointed out by the Web magazine Something Awful. It is also true that I have not compiled a complete list of all the activities in which one can engage while naked. Please feel free to conduct your own experiments, but for safety's sake, please use caution. Strangely, it is kind of hard to tell if the two people in the third panel are wearing clothes or not. I guess this brings to light the issue of nudity as a running theme in the Pinkey Suthers show.
