10/03/01 There is, maybe, another good observation buried in this episode. In the third panel, the first guy yells "cheatin'." This is sort of accurate. He is worried that the woman to whom he is married is breaking her agreement of monogamy by having sex with another man. This isn't talking about "cheating," since that is something you do in a game. The relationships between people are not games, there are no rules to bend or higher score to finish with. Thus the sort of country music convention of dropping that last 'g' makes sense in that we get a new word.
