01/16/02 Ah, the excitement. In some ways this episode refers to a scene from The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy in which Zaphod Beeblebrox and Roosta attempt to escape from the Frogstar Fighters by transporting themselves to a disco (I believe this scene only appeared in the original radio show). After escaping to the disco, Zaphod and Roosta next have to escape from the disco, which is filled with robot dancers and a very loud, extra horrible version of the Bee Gee's song Staying Alive (played backwards in 5/8 time with every seventh note removed). When they finally escape, one of the robot dancers declares that "carbon based lifeforms have no sense of fun." Bring on the excitement!
